Once Upon A Time...
Beautiful to look at. Clearly a labor of love. Great performances, especially from the leads. Use of diagetic music was incredible and reminded me of American Grafitti. Not sure what Oscar category that falls under, but it deserves a win. Had a couple of great set pieces. That said, Tarantino's hand has become heavier in the last twenty years and some his trademark techniques yanked me right out of his films. There were several of those here, which we might discuss as we get into discussing the content. I'll see it again.
