Hollywood action fare, and don't really know or care to know what they are missing.

Even still, there are plenty of "Americanized" people in those territories - enough to drive up blockbuster success. The resistance towards Hollywood blockbusters is just a little broader and more prevalent in Europe than in the US or Canada, I believe.
