Except Cruise might be the selfish one. Why are they filming right now? Should all go on a paid COVID leave, until rates stabilize again.

Let's not forget, earlier Cruise was the same guy trying to encourage people to get back in theaters to see Tenet. And while I commend him for still trying to get production going on films, we're back in peak pandemic. It might be best for productions to all to shut down for the time being. At least for the holidays.
Despite Cruise's moralizing about people going homeless and not being able to pay for college (I'm a college student myself, btw)? Cruise is probably more afraid of his movies going to streaming, bombing, or getting delayed, than his actual crew. After all, he clearly was treating these crew members like they were trash.
Him yelling "We're not shutting this movie down!", because of what three people did, also makes me suspect that there are broader set issues.
Even if these three crew members were maskless and sneezing in each other's faces? Just tell them that they breached COVID safety protocol, are endangering the safety of the crew, need to quarantine, and can come back in two weeks with a mask. Doesn't need to get personal.

The Sun: Tom Cruise goes on a rant after crew members not following precautions on MISSION IMPOSSIBLE set. notfabio Dec 15, 16:32

Though it seems pretty well justified actually (crew members weren't following COVID-19 precautions) {nm} notfabio Dec 15, 16:34

Also, bonus, some new (I think) set photos and videos with him and Hayley Atwell {nm} notfabio Dec 15, 16:36

I hope he wasn't yelling at her. {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Dec 15, 17:39

they're jeopardizing the jobs they're lucky to have in the first place udring this pandemic {nm} tealfan Dec 15, 17:14

The general reaction on social media seems to be in Tom Cruises favor, besides those who have issues with him/scientology in general. {nm} notfabio Dec 15, 17:23

I think Cruise is under more pressure than he's been on any other shoot since I'm sure he feels personally responsible for everyone. {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Dec 15, 17:39

Well that and he has two back to back Mission Impossible films vs just one to worry about. {nm} notfabio Dec 15, 17:58

He sounds like a major ass in this clip. I agree with what he's saying it, but not how he says it. The crew aren't dogs, whatever they did jimhogarth Dec 15, 22:17

Nope. Not at all. TOTALLY JUSTIFIED. Crew Members were Behaving like DRB's. COVID-19 is REAL & DEADLY. COVID-19 KILLS. RotoHockeyYTD2014 Dec 16, 06:45

COVID IS deadly, and you don't want to be stupid. We also don't know details. But I'm worried Cruise was lashing out due to studio troubles. jimhogarth Dec 16, 08:41

disagree. he's totally justified imo. grown-ass people need to stop acting so effing stupid, lazy and selfish. {nm} csbd Dec 16, 07:59

You don't make a living in the industry, do you? {nm} csbd Dec 16, 09:38

I was just thinking about this... TheWeekendWarrior Dec 16, 08:04
