This move may illuminate the question of whether there was really any money in selling data that users generate.

I remember when the site would go dark for several days or a week at a time, the anxiety of wondering if it would really come back online.

If it all goes bad, there's some satisfaction in knowing that somewhere on the 'net, there will be preserved the last Top 100 LTD list, where my name will live on in infamy!
