Been here since early '99. This game is truly something special. For the long time players, how many other websites have you visited on a weekly basis for the last 10+ years.Ā  I was never the most hard-core player of this game, but I never got bored of playing either. I will be quite sad if this is the end of the road.

A big thank you to the HSX staff who made this site such a great place to visit the past decade

Not to sound all defeatist or anything, but should this round of layoffs mark the beginning of the end: Thank you HSX. Without this site TWuG Jul 01, 16:57

hear hear. -- nm starrynit Jul 01, 17:00

Ditto. I'm hoping this is not the end (or even the beginning of it) but I've made great, lifelong friends thanks to this game and site. {nm} ty97 Jul 01, 17:01

Well said {nm} mayhem Jul 01, 17:16

It's been good. Hopefully CF will keep us on life support, if only as a prestige thing. Not every company owns one of the oldest and most edzep Jul 01, 17:19

Very Sad Spike Jul 01, 17:26

Hi Spike....I've missed you, but not that silly Bippy ;-) {nm} MojaveMeg Jul 01, 20:38

Aww crap! I joined Dec 1, '97, I can't imagine a Friday morning without agonizing over a long or short opening. Smelly Monkey Jul 01, 17:47

Hold on, what the hell is happening? Is HSX shutting down? {nm} HurricaneKid Jul 01, 18:28

If so, they would have let everyone go.. I don't know. Hoping for the best. Would feel like a substantial loss if it went. Facto Jul 01, 18:33

Actually, in that story someone linked, I did read an update that they laid off EVERY employee ... {nm} Apokalips Jul 01, 19:39

Yeah, the Wrap updated to that about 90 minutes ago, but like Razorhawk says, they are proven to be unreliable with stories Facto Jul 01, 20:04

I will totally put something together to buy this website. HSX is like CRACK lol {nm} Borat Jul 01, 18:34

It's possible that you may need to move fast... {nm} Facto Jul 01, 19:36

We certainly hope not. {nm} ty97 Jul 01, 20:50

It's not over til it's over - second your subject line, though. {nm} Facto Jul 01, 18:54

Agreed, I've been here since 98/99 and it has always been a lot of fun. Thanks, Guys... {nm} Apokalips Jul 01, 18:55

Dang. very saddened by this. Really feel for the employees. Wish they could find a way to make this site economically viable. {nm} LatheYTD Jul 01, 18:56
