Yes, but there are cases where movies have a different distributor in Canada who doesn't report box office.
Many Canadian films in particular will get releases in Canada months before they come out in the United States but you won't even see them in release schedules (such as the one from ERC), nor do they report box office. It's a weird double standard and sometimes that box office will be folded into the ERC box office and sometimes not. But normally, if a movie has a separate US distributor than Canadian, rather than just an overall North American distributor, then it could be counted separately. These are very rare instances, like two or three a year tops.... at least that I know about.
