I'm just stating that this book has the second biggest following after the bible according to the Library of Congress.
I just believe that it is akin to Remember the Titans, Fireproof, and on a much wilder and larger scale, The Passion of The Christ. My thought is that many times a film that goes against the mindset of Hollywood often out performs expectations. A month ago, this film was going to be shown in 8 theaters. Due to people demanding it, it has blossomed to 300 theaters. Can you name one other movie that has ever done this? I've seen the movie. It is better than I expected given the budget, and is pretty faithful adaptation of the book.
