I didn't know what her health issue(s) were.  I have great sympathy for what she's going through, facing blindness is really terrorfing.  I had a taste of that fear a few years ago.  In my case it turned out to be nothing but for a few hours my emotional state was NOT good.  Dealing with it for years takes some real strength.
