1-what are we to do about people not saving for the future? The huge majority COULD save something, and the sooner they start the less it

takes. If you're going to say people can't afford to save anything, I challenge you to find me someone I can't find with discretionary spending.

Besides 401Ks, there are: 

  • 403(b)
  • traditional pensions
  • annuities of various types
  • Solo 401(k) 
  • SEP IRA
  • Simple IRA
  • IRA
  • Roth IRA
  • Health savings account
  • under the mattress or buried in a Mason jar
