Big Grey Area

Posted by: EarlyRetirement on Jun 14, 11:08 in response to Antibody's post You're wrong. In dia is part of Asia.

If you are born in France it does not make you French?  Just as in AFRAM position of which he is right.  Omar Sy is of African American decent even though he was born in France.  Just because you are born in India does not necessarily make you Asian.  Nor does it take away from Americans born in the United States such as Jennifer Lopez who was born in New York her Latin heritage.  This is a fine line in my opinion.  Do you consider Russia apart of Asia and eligible to the Asian fund?  If so, I think the definition needs to be less broad and better defined.  Just because you are in the Asian Continent does not make you Asian, no more than being in the North American Continent makes you American, no more than being Middle Eastern makes you Asian, just as it does not make Jennifer Lopez who is American not be eligible for the LatinFund.

This is a skirting fine line without clear definition within HSX.  What is Asian, what is Latino, what is Black, what is White, what is American?  There is a big grey area here and if people are going to get picky then it is up to HSX to define the lines in the sand and rule accordingly.

Is JURA4 COMIC eligible? I also see it fully invested in six other funds. {nm} socby19 Jun 12, 16:56

shouldnt be. also, afram? omar sy is not african american {nm} casey Jun 12, 17:23

He has been embraced by The African-American community as one of their own AFRAM The African-American Fund Jun 12, 18:20

Thank you for your response, razor casey Jun 13, 07:48

I meant to say that COMIC is holding the six funds that are holding JURA4. {nm} socby19 Jun 12, 19:12

Asian Fund? No Asian credits or connections for this movie as far as I know. Sold off JURA4 and still has derivatives. EarlyRetirement Jun 14, 06:16

ASAIN Fund has done nothing wrong... RazorHawk Jun 14, 06:42

Guess I consider Inda to be more Middle Eastern, but techically it is Asian. No harm no foul. {nm} EarlyRetirement Jun 14, 06:56

Middle East is part of the continent of Asian... and would be eligible for the fund. {nm} RazorHawk Jun 14, 09:37

I think I conceded that India was a part of Asia and did reserve the right to be wrong in my mosting if you read again. {nm} EarlyRetirement Jun 14, 10:27

You're wrong. In dia is part of Asia. {nm} Antibody Jun 14, 10:19

Big Grey Area EarlyRetirement Jun 14, 11:08

There's not much grey area at all. From the fund description: RogerMore Jun 14, 13:25

Irfan Khan is of Indian descent. End of discussion. {nm} Antibody Jun 15, 10:19

Shame, the adjust could have put it over the edge. {nm} socby19 Jun 14, 06:59

It is a shame is true, but... And Antibody has my support for doing the right thing. (Inside) EarlyRetirement Jun 14, 07:49

No. ASIAN is at ~90 and would have been delisted on Monday if they kept JURA4 max into the halt. {nm} socby19 Jun 14, 08:07

ASIAN manager is a casual player who is very cautious when investing... current version ASIAN 3 IPOed 3 years agos {nm} RazorHawk Jun 14, 09:41

If you don't want to report the infraction publically, you are welcome to email macdaddy. {nm} Antibody Jun 14, 10:23

Jurassic Park came from a book not a comic. Ghostbusters didn't start from a comic either. And Funds should not hold other funds. {nm} JDolphin Jun 12, 20:56

No. The eligible securities and their profits have been removed from the fund. {nm} Antibody Jun 13, 10:57

*ineligible {nm} Antibody Jun 13, 10:57

You removed the Jurassic World moviestock and the funds... but COMIC is still holding Jurassic World OW; Call;Put {nm} RazorHawk Jun 13, 11:09

Those are halted. {nm} Antibody Jun 13, 11:18

Please halt COMIC before the .OW delists. {nm} socby19 Jun 13, 11:51

COMIC is also holding Jem And The Holograms (which was created as a cartoon series - never a comic book/graphic novel) {nm} RazorHawk Jun 13, 11:11

This answers the sudden price crash question {nm} blaze223 Jun 13, 11:25
