A clown trying to get a wider audience, sounds harmless enough. Well looks aren't always what they seem. This particular clown has some bizarre ideas about a funny routine. Vulgar tells the story of a clown who goes from entertaining kids to entertaining grown-ups. He reinvents himself as a transvestite clown and starts hitting all the bachelor parties. Those guys who ordered a stripper are really in for a surpise.
Bryan Johnson writes and directs this comedy which comes from Lions Gate Films and View Askew Productions. Vulgar was produced by Monica Hampton. Executive Producers Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier also have parts in the film along with Brian O'Halloran. Vulgar premiered at the 2000 Toronto Film Festival.
