I then went on to say that the latest prediction (posted by someone else) was 38M from BoxOfficePro, it was also selling for around H$39M here. Its also well reviewed by the critics so far at 83%, much better than the Great Gatsby at 48% which you posted had a 2.5x (closer to 2.6 though). 40 was just a number I threw out there. Yeah I know its a wild number since its been predicted at 38 and is selling at 39 here...
As for Lightyear I guess they got that wrong. It will happen on both sides.
Some of us can read other information such as presales data posted on other sites that is showing good figures for Elvis. Word of mouth and walkups will determine what it will actually end up being.
