Kevin Hart: What Now? [KHWN] debuted in second place with nearly $12.0 million. African-Americans made up 54% of the audience, which was 54% over the age of 25.
Last weekend's top film, The Girl on the Train [GRLOT] declined 51% to just under $12.0 million and third overall. The thriller has pulled in $46.6 million.
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children [PRGRN] finished fourth at $8.9 million, bringing its sum to $65.8 million.
Checking in at seventh with $4.3 million, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life [MIDSC] was down just 38% from its opening weekend. On the otherhand, The Birth of a Nation [TBOAN] tumbled 61% to $2.7 million and the tenth spot.
Max Steel [MAXST] charted at 11th with $2.2 million.
