What's the short term upside on HGAME3?

That's because of the "brakes". Who knows when the brakes will release. If they do, it will keep going up. If it drops, it will drop fast.

If it drops before it goes up anymore - it's the last IPO I'll ever buy.

That's a silly thing to say. There are still ways to make money from IPOs. People are just really impatient and want the gains now instead

I disagree - 80 millon shares and only $3 is ridiculous. The hassle and ridiculous unknown unfathomable secret rules are not worh it.

I agree with jdolphin. Since HSX changed all people want is the quick buck and all the skill has gone from this game now.

Does it take a lot of skill to jump on a sequel/threequel to a big hit?

so how is it agreeing with jdolphin when he thinks the brakes are a bad thing and preventing the "unskilled" quick buck?

Brakes are not a bad thing. Brakes to this extent are bad thing. If HSX doesn't want the stock jumping madly then make a 24 hr IPO

Or price it higher. 170 was a no brainer buy. 250 would have made people think twice.

My idea isn't to do that, it's to not have a limit at all for IPOs. Let the market forces dictate how far it goes after the first sale.

I would like to take this opportunity and go on record as preferring the brakes left in the "on" position.
