not a lot of shares are changing hands, but they r. u have to look at the volume traded tha day. ive seen a stock wth 16mil shorts and 2 mill longs go up because the trading volume was 5 mil shares. however the number of long and shorts stayed about the same. u have to remembr there are people here who can buy 100,000 shares of a stock and then sell it quickly when it jumps up a few percentage pts so it looks like shares held never changed. watch he volume too.
