Seems like anyone and everyone is jumping on the bandwagon to get rid of theatrical. It amazes me.

Studios shift to direct to consumer first I agree is destructive especially multi-year window deals.

Well said! No matter how much is spent on a home system, and I've been in elaborate ones, the cinema experience far exceeds!

I kinda get that. I'm enjoying more intimate movies at home now. Plus, no upcoming movie will replicate the Avengers: Endgame experience.

I agree with 3ebfan511's first paragraph 100%. I never really see a reason to go to the theater, for the very reasons they stated.

You suggested that people that go to movie theaters more than twice a year are extroverts. I'm pointing out that this is false.

Well you don't know if its false, its a theory. You seem to say you are an extrovert...proving the point. Anyway the last few sentences..

+1. The last movie I saw in theaters was Spider-Man: FFH. After that, had little desire to visit the theaters.

The flexibility is whats important. Once there is confidence in the market and people learn to cope with it, people will come back.
